and my news is that I have just found out that I am related by marriage to 'Just Mandy' on this forum!.. her 4x gt grannie married a chap called Gervase Pepperday and his mother was a sister to Mary George that married Henry Foulds in 1792!

I cannot find Kerenhappuch Foulds on the 1841 census though and she should be about as she was b. 1824 [I have her now through to her death, except the 1841!!]

How about Kerenhappuch Foulds aged 18 in St Alkmund Derbyshire, not born in county. Ancestry have her indexed as Herenhappuch.

I went to Lavender Row the other day and took some photos, it is a very pretty looking row too [and a very expensive place to try and buy a house there! last look was about 250,000 for a 3 bed frameworkers house!]

I am pretty certain that she is Johns daughter but the rest of them are Williams children [I know it's confusing] :smilee:

If you look closely at the image of the census there is a single dash to the left of the names between Keren and the rest of the family which would normally denote that although they are in the same building she was in a separate household from the others.
