Family Tree Maker 2017 - New PC

We are getting a new pc in the near future and am concerned that when the programme is transferred that all the date is not transferred with it. I have backed up each of my trees. I am really not sure how this works and wondered if anyone could confirm that the backed up info can be transferred into the programme on the new pc? Thank you
