    Then the next step to find someone who can date the family photo for me! Maybe I'll start another thread requesting help on this.

      Date wise I would say very late 1800s, very early 1900s, based on the style of blouse being worn by the lady whose head is highest in the photo.

      It has a kind of toggle front, a bit like an old fashioned Girl Guides uniform, or a sailors top, and that style of toggle blouse was very popular in the late 1890s/early 1900s.
