If the right Sheba Tyler (can't be many)
Age 60 on death reg, March qtr 1860
    Age 61 on burial, 16 Feb 1860

Possibly no Millers to be found in the BTs available for Woodham Ferrers before 1813? (1801/2, 1805/6, 1806/7, 1807/8, 1808/9)

That one is recorded as a male on the burial record though! Surely some mistake.

I thought the name Sheba was familiar. I did the lookup at ERO for these baptisms for you Val back in 2009. Here are the details I sent you.
" First I looked in the baptism book starting 1802. Found:
John Miller son of James and Mary, baptised April 7th 1804
James Miller son of James and Mary baptised June 21st 1807
Hannah Miller daughter of James and Mary baptised Nov 26th 1809
Then I went back to the register covering 1550-1802 and found:
Sheba daughter of James and Mary Miller baptised April 26th 1801.
This image is online, i have posted the link in your thread. All these images should be online now but not for free anymore.

I also looked for a marriage of James and Mary - searched 1793 - 1803 but no luck. There was a William Miller married in that period and a Peter Miller acting as a witness who might perhaps turn out to be relatives."

Judith please forgive me and thanks so much, I know what its like when people ask for records already found, so am mortified, I did the same thing.
Should say I am a lot more organised these days.

As far as I remember it was Woodham Ferrers' parish church- St Mary the Virgin
Sheba was in the register dating between 1558-1802 and the others in the 1802 - 1812 register
Both those books are now available to browse on SEAX with a paid sub. The link on my 2009 post won't work anymore as in those days access to a limited number of registers was free.

Don't feel bad please Val, I'll bet most people on here have lost/forgotten info and repeated look ups, I know I have plenty of times.
