Bit of a dead end, how to find out more?

Hello, Im trying to trace a Joselph Majilton, just got my great grandfathers marriage certificate, says father is Joseph Majilton, only Joseph I can find seems to be Williams brother I gather.
Tried different surname spellings and tried various family tree sites.
Also can any of you decipher Teresa's fathers name, I cant make any headway with it,
    any help appreciated
(never inserted an image so hope this works)
    Thanks

There is an 1871 census for a Joseph Magilton
    http://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin...try&h=15794955
    Class: RG10; Piece: 3745; Folio: 13; Page: 26;

    Household:
    Joseph Magilton 27
    Ann Magilton 27
    John Magilton 6
    Catherine Magilton 3
    Elizath A Magilton 6 Months

I'll see if I can find the same family in 1881.

Sorry it's too small to make out and not possible to enlarge it. Best to just post up the snippet that you are querying and then it can be bigger.

Wow, thank you Elaine, I must be doing something wrong with the searches, I had trouble with William because the surname had been spelt wrong, will try to do a crop of the first name as well and repost image, my wife said it could be Owen.

Thats the trouble I had, they seem to disappear and suddenly turn up, lot of surname variations in the spelling as well, ive gone from Majilton, Magilton, Mcjilton, Majelton.
                        Very confusing at times.
Thanks for looking anyway Elaine, much appreciated

Your right its not easy, I did find some army records a while ago but the dates seem to conflict with birth year. Didnt seem right at the time, will dig them out and go over it again.

matching the marriage to Ann, believe Joseph has a sister Harriet, marriage witnesses ? Cook and Elizabeth Griffiths. Marries Thomas Edwards

Did Joseph then marry Isabella Agnew?

The army records have Brook Street, Joseph and Isabella are there on the 'later' census
