hi help please Paternal Greatgrandparents John Thornton age 21 (striker)of Riga St father Joseph (labourer) born Mcr married Charlotte Stanford age 18 of 18 Green St? born Mcr father William(engineer) Dec 25 1872 at St Marks church Hulme Mcr. Cannot trace births. 1881 Census shows them at 9 Ivy Court Hulme with Children William 5, John Henry 4, Sarah Ann 14mths.Other Children were Thomas, Benjamin, Jack, Herbert,? Abraham my grandfather was born 1884 at 9 Ivy Court in Hulme. John and Charlotte may be buried in Weaste Cemetary Salford? Maternal greatgrandparents James Warren French Polisher (father Thomas mother Ann Brennan) and Anne Ledmond married in Dublin 15 Aug 1873 moved to Liverpool had a son Francis Michael baptised St Josephs Church Liverpool 27 Nov 1886 died in world war 1, a John, one other and Mary teresa, my grandmother do not know her date of birth, they moved to Manchester at some point? some burials in Moston cematary I think.Would love to find some info.
