I have just found a burial record of a 4 year old in 1803 in Yorkshire, with the death listed as accidental. I have looked on FMP newspaper records, but is there anywhere else I can look to find out more information?

Unless it was particularly notable i doubt there would even be an article that early.

Have you looked at the burial register? If you are very lucky, the vicar may have added a comment.
