Trying to find info about John

Can anyone please find any info about John?



I've found his marriage to Charlotte but can't seem to find anything else about John,
please see ;

The John I'm looking for died some time between 1864-69 as Charlotte remarried Q4 1869
I've not been able to find him on any census 1841-1861

Did you mean he died between 1854 and 1869 or between 1864 and 1869?

Not having any luck so far, sorry. What was John's occupation when he married? Where did Charlotte live when she remarried? Did Charlotte have any children with John? If so, when and where were they born?

1861 Charlotte is living with her mother and siblings with John R, her son, aged 5 in Hurdsfield Macclesfield. Stated as married but no John. Transcribed as Beddo.

Seems John Samuel's death was registered in Macclesfield reg dist in Q4 1854.

If John was a pointsman then it is possible that he was working for the North Staffordshire Railway in which case it's likely that he boarded in various places that the Railway extended to at the time.
My Great Grandfather worked for Great Eastern Railway and boarded with and without his family covering various censuses and places.

Suggest widening the search to surrounding counties.

I have no idea tbh, looked in papers but found nothing.

I notice that there are other John Baddows, he could have just gone off and married someone else!

just found same records too Katarzyna father is a porter, marriage cert says labourer, but could be interchangeable

Have not found any other census yet in Staffs after these 2.

This is an odd one that needs sorting out! Looks like John married again or is living with a Mary nee Greaves. Also changed his job.
He's with mum and brothers.
