My grandmother died in 1985 in Airdrie Scotland.

Where would she most likely have been buried/cremated?

    Is there any information online?

She may possibly be with her husband who died before her but also lived in Airdrie

There are two cemeteries in Airdrie according to North Lanarkshire Council website. St Joseph's is the Roman Catholic cemetery. You might not get any help at the moment due to service being very restricted because of covid.

GallowayLass...the tree you mentioned on ancestry is mine.

I will send an email off to the Monkland Cemetery and see how I go.

PhotoFamily.............this Davidson family came from Selkirk.

I've generally found emailing local councils to where the death occurred to be the best way to find a burial or cremation- make sure to enquire about both, as some councils will only check one and not the other.
