    Hiya all,i have been searching my wifes grandparents and i have found that her grandad George Henry Cotgrave (b- 1870 ) died in 1921,also that his wife Jane Cotgrave ( Eckersley ) died in 1922 both only young how could i find how they died,any help very welcome,both born in Salford,Lancashire. Ron

    either buy the death certificates or see if there is anything in the newspapers

      Could have been anything really, no antibiotics then, remember. But as Janet says, you will need the death certificates to find out.

            Hiya Val,thanks for your reply,i have been doing a fair bit of searching over a couple of years as my wifes faily was very big,I have a bit of info on George Henry and George henry junior who were both in the 8th Lancashire Fusiliers thats all i have,if you have any mor i would love to see it.
