    DARLOW One Name Study

    Hi all,

(Mods: I'm not sure if Research Qs & As is the right bit of the forum for this but please move if there is a better spot!)

Just a quick note, I've registered my one name study of the surname Darlow with the Guild of One-Name Studies and am actively researching all instances of the name. The profile page can be viewed at http://www.one-name.org/profiles/darlow.html. If you have any records you'd like to contribute or have a research query that involves someone with the name Darlow please drop me an email at darlow@one-name.org. I'll also be writing occasional articles about the study for my blog at http://www.familytreesleuth.co.uk/blog for those who are interested to see how the study progresses.

    Best wishes,

    Alex

We have a dedicated thread for One Name Research in the Reference Library Community Boards: http://www.familytreeforum.com/showt...-name-research

You could copy this message on there and also create a Blog. It is also possible to add your surname interests to our GEDCOM and Surname Directory Pages.

More information can be found on http://www.familytreeforum.com/showt...ommunity-Board and http://www.familytreeforum.com/conte...-how-to-guides

I'll certainly have a look - I'm doing my b-i-l's tree, and he has some Warwickshire Darlows.

Copied, thanks for the heads up Caroline. Since there was a response here I'll leave the thread up just in case.

Leaving the thread might give other people some ideas as well.
