Thank you, Julie for all that research. Forbz in 1870. good. Yes, two children died in England before the family went to the US. Then another died in Kansas. She may have been named Ida. Since we can't get birth records in Kansas I haven't been able to verify that. Or get an address for where they lived in Ft. Scott. Those early census did not give street addresses.

I was just trying to piece a loose timeline to try and track his movements.. I havent managed to find him in 1910 yet though, presumably he is still in Ohio?
have you tracked his parents/siblings? to see where they ended up.
Btw, I did find the childrens births on https://www.familysearch.org/s/searc...filtered=falseJulie

The Kansas children???? oo oo! I have the three births in Lanc. His father died in England just after M & B's marriage. I thought I found (I don't have any of my records with me here at work) his mother with Mary and Sarah still in Blackburn after 1900. He and Bridget were in Cleveland Ohio from 1891 on. All but one child, John, stayed in Northeast Ohio. All of their lives and descendants are well documented by another genealogist in the family. The only sibling I new about in the US was John. We've been able trace him in Kansas. We have not traced any of Bridget's siblings. Mostly I think because we have focused on Michael.
