Having just made a breakthrough after the visit last week I shall definitely be back at the records office this week, probably Wed(29 Sep) and Fri(1 Oct).
I have some look ups to do for Flashieboy, but I could probably do a couple of others.
I can look up births, marriages and deaths from 1855-present year and censuses from 1841-1901.
There are also the Old Parish Records (OPR) which are the records of the established Church of Scotland and the Roman Catholic Church records(although I have no experience of these).

Hi Sheila - thanks so much for that. I have tried to select records which I think should be easy for you to look up for me, as follows:
DEATH Agnes WOOD, (21 Dec) 1861, Cupar, Fife
DEATH David ROLLO, (29 Jul) 1856, Logie, Fife
DEATH Ann PATERSON, 1870, St. Andrew (parish), Dundee, Angus (born 1800)
I'd be grateful for as much informatin from the records you can transcribe.
Jay, Dorothy can you please let me have info by mid afternoon tomorrow, as I have to go out tomorrow evening and may not be back until late. So I want to have everything ready for an early start on Friday (I need to leave just after 8am).
