  • Albert Robinson born Bath died Bristol

I wonder if anyone can help? I am looking for Albert Robinson. All I know about him is:
He died around 1970-1971 at the age of approx 80 in Bristol.
    He was born in Bath.
He was one of 12 boys.

He married Rose Victoia M George in 1919 in Bristol. They had only one child Albert James Robinson in 1924

I seem o be going round in circles trying to find the right person who came from a family of 12 boys.

    Found this one

    Albert Edward Robinson
Date of birth 20 Jul 1890
    Death Registration 1971 3rd quarter
    Bristol volume 7b, page 191

Can you find him on the 1891/1901 census to get some idea of his year of birth.

I have found one born 1888 in Bath. Parents James and Ellen. In 1901 they had 5 boys and two girls. My sub for 1911 has expired so cannot check if they had more boys by then.

With the details being so vague I think you are going to have to get the marriage certificate to Rose Victoia M George to help you find the right Albert Robinson.

It is worth looking at Bath local BMD as they have added mother's maiden name to births so you should be able to find his siblings easily.

I think, as Elaine was hinting, the only question is whether the Albert Edward Robinson we've been following up, which looks like one consistent story to me, is the Albert Robinson grandmasilver has been looking for.

Bath would probably be Twerton The marriage was 1914 Church of the Ascension Claude Street. I found a birth in 1923 Victor James Robinson mother Poole It looks as though it might be a different chap.
