Does anyone know if local libraries hold copies of old electoral rolls?

I am trying to find who lived at an address that i have on a death cert in Aldershot in 1959. I can see that the informant is a neice of the deceased but the actual name is illegible.

Have you tried contacting the Office that you got the death cert from Chris and telling them that you can't read it? They may have a look and either send you a clearer copy or tell you what it says.
Chrissie passed away in January 2020.

You can usually see old electors rolls in central libraries. It's also very useful when trying to find someone - especially if they move - you can ask the neighbours by working out who still lives there and asking if they know whereabouts the person moved to.

If you have a specific address and a specific date and you email nicely the library might just look it up for you. I've had success that way.
