Adding images

I hope this is the right place, I wasn't sure if it should be photos!:conf:

I've recently discovered that (I know, I'm slow) I can add images to my FTM direct from my scanner so I have been trying to add certificates. Trouble is they are almost unreadable & I wondered if sks could give me some tips as to how to get them right, please.
I use 2005 btw!

In what way are they unreadable? Too light, too dark, too small? You may need to do some adjusting using an image manipulation program. Or you may need to adjust some settings on the scanner.
