I would like an address plse for the 1861 / 71 / 81 census please....
I have been to Astley 3 times and I am led to believe they lived in ASTLEY HOUSE..a mansion House that still stands today...it was revamped in the 1800`s...I want to know did they own it or were they workers there...can`t see a family of 15 being working there and living there.....cheers...allan;)

Sorry Allan They were ag labs!

They were possibly tenants on the estate and the address was just lumped in with the Hall.

In 1861 and 1871 Williams father Thomas b1804 is with them.
