i am trying to find harold edward herbert stevenson he was born in christchurch on 20/02/1900 .i have since been told his parents were harold stevenson and emily stacy.i need his birth reg.and his parents marriage cert;)

Can you confirm the county for Christchurch - there is one in Hampshire, also a Christchurch in Monmouthshire and an area in London which is sometimes known as Christchurch!

the one I have found could be him, however as you havent specified which christchurch, then it is purely a guess.

The fathers middle initial could be H for Harold likewise with Sarah with the exception that it could be Ameila which in turn got mangled to Emily.

What certs do you have???

If you can find Harold Edward Herbert's marriage cert you should be able to get his parents' names and his age, and work back from there.

or

his death cert (if the informant knew)
