  • National burial index

    Hello all

I rang Wolverhampton archives today and also the bereavement service and at present they were not able to help me with my query.
I was wondering if somebody has the above index and was able to tell me if they can see a burial for James George Hill and Rosa Hill in Wolverhampton in the years 1904 and 1908?

I have found James on FreeReg but after contacting the church they only have a burial for a James in 1910 which does not match my James who was buried in 1908.

    Any help would be fantastic.

There is nothing showing on the NBI discs - in fact there is very little coverage for anything in the 1900's.

I can't understand why they couldn't help you, because the Wolverhampton burial index is online

I thought it was, but I couldn't find it when I answered your other thread yesterday. James is there, but I can't see Rosa.

          Hiya Mary

I did see that after you mentioned it yesterday and that is his burial but I would like to find his wife's burial 'Rosa Hill' and where they were buried.
It does state on FreeReg that it is Holy Trinity church Heath Town but they claim that he isnt buried there.
