  • Missing on census any ideas please

following on from yesterday when I finally got a marriage cert
Its for May 1902 in Stepney Mile End
I am trying to find the Bride in either 1881 or 1891
name Esther Bruce according to the cert aged 28 so born in about 1874
Fathers name Henry a Gas Worker
Witnesses no real clue a G Waight and a E Holloway
address of Bride and Groom 43 Globe Road which I think was in Stepney
according to the 1901 census the Groom Alexander Miller is down as married ????? which could just be a mistake.

Again, nothing promising on familysearch. Maybe her "father" was a stepfather and she was registered under a different name, or her father was a figment of her imagination. Or of course, Esther could be a made-up or middle name which doesn't appear on her birth registration.
