Goto wiki mainpage, under the Gedcom and Magazine you will see your username, click on it. it will take you to your userpage in wiki. click on EDIT type what you want... scroll down and save..

thats all there is to it

just think that it is like creating a new thread on here, and you will be fine.

How do I find the page of another member to read theirs?

Merry type their username into the searchbox and hit enter!,

wiki is very easy when you know what to look for/how to use it.

you can see mine is in my signature, or you can goto recent changes (on the drop down on the navbar) and look there, you will see the members that have added their bits today (their usernames will go blue, instead of red when they have added to their page)

Click on Wiki MAIN PAGE from drop down box.

Sidle along your perch to the top right, find your name just below the blue bar, and next to that click MY TALK.

A white message box thingy appears, just like a new post. Put your blurb in there, then press SAVE.

Tidy up bird seed and go back to your cage.

nice to see you are getting the hang of it...just a teensy weensy thing here though, you need to click on your username... not "my talk", if you goto your wikipage OC click on your username it will take you to it..

I have laid it out how you originally typed it OC (as when you dont space it, it does wierd things, it has a mind of its own) it formats the wording as it wants, so I have just spaced yours abit. if you dont like it I can always put it back... hope this is ok?

is just amatter of knowing what works and how the wiki presents things,

You have done really well and taken that first step into the world of wiki!

I think sometimes even we forget, and we have been in wiki since march this yr... the more you practice the better you will get,

you can even add your username for people to PM if you like (but they would have to be a member to do so)..

Julie, Why is it when I 'click' on your wiki page from your last post on here, I get 'page cannot be displayed'?

Is it not accessable through this way?
