  • 43rd Foot Regiment

I am trying to find out any information on the 43rd Foot regiment c 1830-1844

but not having any luck, I have googled "43rd Foot Regiment" and nothing really

I have a John Ingott who was discharged in 1844 (from TNA) but I was hoping to find out where they were stationed.

    Any ideas?

              Hi Vicky

Yes I stumbled accross that site after learning that the 43rd was part of the Oxford & Bucks light infantry

              Thanks though

I've had Ancestors in the 52nd Regiment during the 1860/1870's.

Need to investigate further in the New Year.
