  • noddy holder....my ancesters were holders

    and i wondered is there any way to find out were noddy holder was born,it would be intresting to see if i have a famous pop singer in my tree,although the lead singer of the verb is now in the holder ancestrol home now called taynton house.brenda xxx

    i just googled and got that he was born in the west midlands,but i would like to know if he is related brenda xxx

      Nothing on free bmd but if you've got ancestry you'll be able to get his mmn.

        I have some holders, from memory i think mine came from gloucestershire, noddy is more from the black country which is staffordshire.

                hi i did goole seach noddy holder s famliy tree and came up wit hhe is either born in 1946 or 1950 on 15 june

                and his real name is Neville John "Noddy" Holder

                also found the holder crest
                Holder Family Crest

                  according to wikipedia he was born "13 1/2 Newhall Street, Walsall". 13 1/2 - would that be in the gap between 2 houses?;)

                            yes found walsall,but a lot moved away as mine came from gloucesters,taynto,bulley,cinderford and more,mine moved to leeds yorkshire.so i was wondering if there was a connection.i have gon on the site and left a message in a guest book so here,s hopeing brenda xxx

                                  They used to say "½" rather than "a" or "b" for house numbers, so it's probably a divided house or an extra house built in a gap.
