  • is there a uk site like this irish one

    hi,
ive been on myheritage website today (1st time found by chance and its great), it has loads of my irish ancestors records on and you can view the record image (like a copy of marriage entry etc and shows parents names). is there a uk site that does this?
**no point asking the living for help as the dead are more helpful!!!**

Fmp has the irish parish records for free. That was their deal. Ancestry also has them part of a sub.

Then there is irishgenealogy.ie, which is putting up all the civil registration (started in 1864) for free and the parish records. Births and marriages for civil reg are now complete, they are working on deaths.

And you know the irish 1901 and 1911 censuses are free on the national archives website.
