  • Can anyone see William Kimber ..

.. on the 1891 census? His wife and children are in the Hungerford Union Workhouse but can't find where William is!

He was born 1854, Kintbury, Berkshire.

1881 census they are in Hungerford and in 1901 they are in Fawley (near Henley on Thames).

    Thanks for looking

    Hi Tessie

I have looked and tried quite a few variants but no luck I'm afraid, i'll bet he's either mistranscribed/in prison? maybe. The only other WK I could find seems to be married to a Dinah. [this was on Ancestry btw] others that have FMP might be able to spot him. I also checked on LDS just incase he was on there too but I couldn't see him.

On FMP , there’s the one Julie already found with wife Dinah plus there’s another - William T Kimber in Newbury, Berkshire with a wife Martha and two children but that doesn’t fit with your workhouse findings.
