Please does anyone know how to remove invitations to view the tree? I want to wipe them all and start again. Cannot see how to do it.

    Thanks

Login as admin, go to "tools">>>>invitations.

A list of invited people comes up with their roles, you can change or delete from the small dropdown menu next to each invited member.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work on a free tree, but thankyou anyway!

I can see the address book is only on a paid site but there's no mention of restriction to editing/deleting members of a tree.

There is no drop down menu and clicking on the names doesn't do anything either. Ah well, lesson learned - stop giving access to anyone in future.

OC, I’ve no idea how a tree is hosted on tribal pages but can you remove your tree from there completely and then upload it again with a different name? That should nullify invites to the old one.

GL, I would need a subscription to do that. It is a hobby tree and this is the first time in 12 years I have tried to block anyone - in a fit of pettiness, I should add lol. Just sick of people coming along begging to be allowed access and then. - nothing! Not a thankyou, not a "here is a bit of info about Joe Bloggs you can use if you want", total silence. Grr.

Oh dear, sorry to hear that it is so restrictive.

As old age and impatience set in (OK, call it grumpy old man syndrome), I'd be tempted to edit the homepage in such a way my contempt was apparent and include the who/why. Thinking about it even on a good day the grumpy bone tingles enough I'd be tempted even if there was no block on me removing the invite. I'm not quite the same jovial GR contributor of years gone by.
