    Hello, me again!

    Would anyone be kind enough to look up a passage to and death in NSW for an Alfred George Nalder b.1895, Hampstead Norris, Berkshire, thank you!

        tessie .............. I don't guarantee that they will be on there, but it's where I would look to start with.

        Ancestry carries the passenger lists for people leaving the UK, and it doesn't need the World membership, because I don't have that and I can see all the lists.

            Maybe he went over there to be with family?

              Carolyn - wow, so he was a sailor then went to Oz later in life - I wonder why I couldn't see him on the 1939 nor why anything showed on a genera search when I looked!?

              Thanks so much - off to try and decipher his sailors records

                Tessie, if he joined any branch of the armed forces his full service details will be there on NAA, and free as well.

                This applies to WW2 and post war as well, just in case you have a reason to search those.
                Whoever said Seek and Ye shall find was not a genealogist.

                  marriage on fmp can't see it on ancestry easily Maiden name Gray, 1924, can re find it and post if you can't see it.

                  Do you think it is right one, there was another in the area I think.

                    Certainly fits on name and birth details. Found a marriage for Alfred and Dorothy, found their daughter's birth, found Dorothy (wife's) death in 1935. Thanks so much
