  • Help with Susan Snos(z)well ..

please can anyone find her - I only have her on the 1851 census

Her Mother's age is mis-transcribed along with one of her sisters (Ann).

I just cannot find her anywhere - FMP tree is down so can't see any hints it might have and Ancestry is not coming up with anything!?

    Thanks for looking

      Carolyn,
I have tried looking for a marriage but couldn't see one - I'll keep trying different combinations. Hopefully FMP starts working for me again today! Her father's name was John (b.1793).
      Thanks

I've had a look at all the combinations of her name I can think of and found nothing, sorry.

I don't have Ancestry so can't access your link. Is this Susannah, daughter of John from Lacock? I have this family in my tree too (my g grandmother)- not that I can help as I haven't been able to find her either. You've probably already tried searching for Snussell/Snuzzell.

Coincidence then that both your John and mine were born in 1793.

I saw that tree, with William as Susan's son, but no source.

can't find Susan at all tried many combos and wild cards for her name, very odd.

I can’t find her either as her own name or a possible marriage to a Mr Wilshire / Wiltshire going by the surname in the 1861 census as in post#9. Very odd.

Here’s the death index from ancestry which looks like the match for the burial but the GRO says this is a baby.

Thanks everyone! My Snos(z)well's are something else! They are joined to my traveller side of the family so could easily not be registered or using a different name I guess!
