I want to say yes but truth be known I have no clue. I would say it was a good candidate, I only have james william harding baptism record and it says croydon barracks. If it helps baptism was carried out in the parish of croydon - county of surrey

FMP have a John Harding who attested in Bristol 1806 for the Scots Fusilier Guards, discharged 1831. He was born near Barnstable, Devon 1788. Service record available on that one but nothing to indicate marriage to Elizabeth although he went AWOL 1814 for a couple of months,

aswell as a census record from 1851 and 1861 and a possible baptism record
