  • I am looking for Lawrence Melvin Vice, Jr.

My father, Lawrence Melvin Vice, Jr., was in the Merchant Marines during the last part of WWII. He was born in Chelsea, Oklahoma, on 8 Jan 1928. He died in Reno, Nevada, on 22 Apr 1928. I would like tp find his Merchant Marine Records and learn what Merchant Ship he was on. During WWII the Merchant Marines were not part of the armed forces, so I have hit a brick wall. Could some one please? help me. Thank you
