When I did the blanket searches which included variables, it did throw up some initials only results, some of which were without year of birth, or place of birth etc. Nothing significant stood out. Of course the success of any search is reliant upon the information given at the time and we've all come across scenarios where incorrect data has been submitted or recorded.

Pamela's mother was one of fourteen siblings who all reached adulthood and it's been a fascinating journey, over the years, tracing and recording their lives. You're right, not many Pamelas around, so in theory, she should be easy to trace. Pamela's eldest half-sister named her first daughter Pamela - that Pamela also had a short life - married young, had a baby but both mother and child died.
