    Customs House Officer

Hi all from a very sunny Queensland

Still looking for a friend who is chasing William/George Hooper. He is described as a "Booker at the Quays" and a "Customs House Officer" on his children's London baptism records in the 1850's. We've looked online at the National Archives records, but can't find any likely Hoopers there. Are there any other online sites we should be looking at or should we consider hiring someone to look in the UK for us? We know that William/George Hooper lived in the Camden Town/LongAcre area in the 1850's, but really not much more.

Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks all

Is it information about his career you are searching for, or general information about the family?

can you give more details, childrens names and their date of births. He may have been born elsewhere and moved there in the 1850s, many did. St Pancras is the Camden area.

We could try and find census records
