  • Caroline Hubbard has gone awol

Caroline was born in Mundesley Norfolk in 1853.

1861 she was in the parental home at Gimingham

    and again in 1871

I've never managed to find a death reg, burial, marriage or later census record for her.
Her siblings were unable to read and write, and Hubbard is a surname which lends itself to many variations, including Hubbert, and Hubbit.

She's hiding somewhere, can anyone help please?

Could this be her with Robert (not Edward)Hubbard as Head and Elizabeth his wife - Walter, Caroline's husband is missing.
Maybe just a coincidence as Caroline's age is a bit out and pob is Norwich.

    Elizabeth Hubbard 55

    William Hubbard 20
    George Hubbard 17

EDIT: the other boys in the census don't fit so this is all wrong!! :(

Could that be Caroline nee Rudrum who married Marhsall Gottis in 1876?

Thanks Joy and Val. When I first saw that census record, I got my hopes up too - until I found the marriage:(

Bet she was the child who always found the best hiding place in games of hide and seek.
