    Where are they in 1901?

Can anyone find this man for me in 1901 please? I have him in all the other census and the 1939 register but for the life of me I can't find him in 1901!

George Henry Crowther born 21st Dec 1881 in Nottm. Married Alice Porter in 1900. First child not born until 25th Feb 1902.

Here he is in 1891 with his parents and siblings - https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bi...try&h=13567490

and here he is in 1911 with Alice and the children - https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bi...=successSource

Is it possible that he could've been staying with a relation?

Any chance he may have taken a detour into the army? There is a G.Crowther in barracks in Ireland in 1901, right age.

Yes, I found May thank you. Sarah died 1897 in Nottm aged 49. I haven't found a definite death for Sam yet.

Sorry, nothing for either George or Alice. I have tried Geoff as the Geo H in 1911 does resemble that but nothing there either.

There is a Mr Crowther visiting at Craven St Nottingham Thomas and R Mason, but he is cited as an electrician from Whitby, but as there are 2 other visitors also documented as Mr and Mrs it would appear that the 'landlord' did not have much info, but doesn't seem likely
