FTM 2017 Update

[Val wish Id never started]

I got an email to say there was an update available, so I downloaded and saved it to my PC, did the usual, backed up my file.
Went to update ,and it said I was already updated? but how can I be.

Updated automatically whilst your computer was idle? Lots of programmes do the same e.g. windows, anti-virus etc.

hi Grumpy and thanks I know about the others, but why did it ask me to download the update myself and install it.

I could give a wild guess or two Val, but think it would be more accurate

to say Haven’t a clue.

I have exactly the same Val - mine is up to date too. I looked back in my emails and found this:

Sat 29 Sep, 06:11 (12 days ago)
.....our second FREE update for FTM 2017 ......The result is FTM 2017 version 23.2 (build 540).
Are you sure you didn't update it back then? I do remember doing one . Thought this one yesterday must be a new update.

Thanks for being honest Grumpy, would expect nothing less from you.
Kat mine too was the 29 Sep, but all I did was save it to my desktop, at the time I was too busy, so thought I'd do it later.
I've not had another one yesterday.
