Do you have Henry Stenson and Mary Ann on any censuses? It would help if we could know her place of birth.

Hello Phil, have moved your thread here to Family History Research where more people will hopefully see it. Are you sure about names? I see that George PAYS married Mary Row 2 Feb 1823 at St Martin in the Field, Westminster. I couldn't see the marriage of Henry STENSON and Mary Ann PAYS in London in early 1820s but did find Henry Matthew STENSON marrying Sarah Mary PAYS at St Martin in the Fields 28 March 1819. One of the witnesses was George PAYS.

          Hi

I found some evidence of two other pays baptisms at saint martin in the fields Westminster

          Could be connected

          Martha pays 20/2/1803

          And

          Thomas James 2/12/1787

( on the record of Thomas James the parents are noted as

          Thomas pays and Martha )

          This may help

Perhaps the marriage of Thomas and Martha??

          Regards Phil

The marriage date is rather vague - is this an "educated" guess on someone's part or backed up by a register entry?
