  • ftm guide ??

to get the most out of ftm 2018 I would like to use a manual that explains what does what
and how to properly store images and references
I have seen copies on e bay but they don't give any explanations about what they contain
i hoper to restart on my tree shortly and would appreciate any suggestions on the best way to store my information
    Brian

I have moved your thread to 'Family Tree Software' Brian, as I believe the people who could help you are more likely to see it here.

I presume you mean FTM 2017, which is the latest version available.

You can order the manual (companion guide) direct from MacKiev - costs £39.95

    - or you can use the version which you will find preinstalled on FTM. Click on HELP >> COMPANION GUIDE

    - or you can print out the Guide direct from your computer (or even get a local printing company to print and bind). If you accepted default locations on installation of the software, you should find the guide in C drive >> PROGRAM FILES >> FAMILY TREE MAKER 2017 >> MANUALS >> CompanionGuide.pdf
