    Kindle help please

Is there any way of turning off predictive text on a kindle, please? It is driving me mad, sneakily altering perfectly ordinary words and posting rubbish instead.

Hi OC this is for Fire - assume it's a similar method for the others?

    1. Swipe down from the top of your Kindle Fire
    2. Tap "More"
    3. Tap "Language and Keyboard"
    4. Tap "Keyboard"
    5. Tap "English..."
    6. Tap to turn off or on "Auto-correction

Do you mean on a Kindle Fire tablet? If so then go to Settings – Language and Keyboard – Touch Input – Text Input – Prediction. Select On or Off

Thankyou both. Not sure it has worked though, as I am still getting suggestions. We shall see!
