    Looked at the will again and thought it said Mary Vasey Widow

    I've just remembered!
    I thought I recognised the name Mary Vasey. I found her living with John from Ireland when he was a lodger . She was down as a visitor I think and 6.
    I apologise if you have already shown this link. I havent yet looked at them

    Just parking this thought here, before I forget!

    We know from census returns that Jonathan was an army pensioner, so this could be an area for future research.

    I did look at a Jonathan Bulmer with a ref to payment in Newcastle

    Also a Jonathan Turnbull but he is Scottish from what I can make out.
