OK, found it now.

The one you found is Samuel Keen alias Gay or Gray, transported to NSW on the Midas; not the same person as the Samuel Clark alias Keen that I found.

I don't think Keen/Gray is likely to be your man, as he was convicted in Salisbury, and his birthplace was Wiltshire.
