Family History Goals for 2018

I never set targets for family history, mainly because I never know what is going to be available.

2018 will be more of the same that is more research, more checking to see if I can replace old photographic copies of wills, parish register entries etc., with better digitised copies.

I will also be looking at more ways to encourage, coax, bribe, threaten, blackmail the younger generation of my family and relatives to continue the family tree when I am pushing up daisys. ;)

Though hopefully that won't be for many years yet.

I hope to visit some more of the parishes where my and my husband's ancestors lived as I like to get a feel for the landscape as well as the documentation. He always enjoys the pub lunch aspect rather than the visiting churchyards part though!

Also looking forward to being able to add the marriage of one of my sons to the tree in February.
