Hi Everyone, just found an ancestor killed in WW1, whose life is commemorated on the memorial. I would love a photograph but can't see me getting to Portsmouth in the near future. Hi Jane, if you go to www.memorialsinportsmouth.co.uk, there is a photo of his name on Panel 4 there. I tried to save the image for you but didn't know how to. It says W.H. Brookbank.

Try this link for Find A Grave site. It should help until someone can assist with a photo.

Well done Caroline! You,re obviously more tech savvy than me! That,s the page I found out the info Bridlady needed to find the man she is looking for. Have mailed her a photo of the name she required on there.

Good knowledge to have for anyone searching names on that war memorial at Portsmouth.
