Dear All,
I'm posting this in the hope that someone might be able to point me in the right direction.
I know some (probable) ancestors emigrated from Scotland to Wilmington, North Carolina, in the spring of 1773. I believe the vessel was the brigantine Carolina, captained by Malcolm McNeil, who was probably from Stornoway in the Hebrides. I know some of the passengers names. It is more than likely that any passenger list hasn't survived - but if it has, how would I go about finding it?
Any help will be gratefully received. Thanks for reading!
