  • Irish certificates - ordering

Where's the best place to order a birth and marriage certificate 1910-1945?

How much does it cost and what does it contain? Think I remember hearing that you can get a photo copy much cheaper but does it have all the info on it?

This is for a friend as I've never obtained an Irish certificate before.

Yes it has the same info as a certified copy. However GRO Roscommon does not have certificates for what is now Northern Ireland after 1921. If that's what you need, you have to get the certificate from GRONI in Belfast. https://geni.nidirect.gov.uk

Thanks Elwyn it is for the republic so the Roscommon address should be ok.
