    Could there have been any incentive to give an incorrect number of years married? Sometime people weren't married until after some of their children had been born, but preferred to present themselves as a conventional family who'd married before having children.

      Christine they married in 1881 in Tunbridge Wells , I wonder if he is living with another woman? and died a lot later on.

          Thanks for your help looking.

          I've drawn a blank for years. He just seems to vanish without a trace.

          I searched the burial records for the church the rest of his family were buried and nothing there either. I have a chain with "FWJ 1909" on it, but that hasn't helped me either. I don't know what it was for or who it was given to.
