and soon after with wife Katherine, doesn't really...
off out now, will have a search around later.
interestingly they are there in the 1919 electoral reg too 29 Exmouth, and in 1918 he is with Patrick Norton?
https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interactive/1795/40020_215078-00393 number 80, it must be him...
There is a Rose Manning that was in the workhouse on and off from the age of 3
...
in the 1920 elec reg she is here (well if it is this Rosina!)
and is Rose Norton...
thought you were onto a winner there, but still alive in 1939 :(...
no problem, still not found her even with different DoB, maybe could be the one Val found
maybe a silly question - but her maiden name is definitely Manning? not a previously married name?
what a great idea.
is this her:
Name: Rosina H Norton
Gender: Female
Marital status: Married
Birth Date: 23 Dec 1886
Residence Year: 1939
Address: 503
Residence Place: Dagenham, Essex, England...
Have you got her in the 1939 register? is the dob is the same as the one you have and where was she living then?
So you have the cost of a terraced house in each year?
I always seem to be googling one of these when reading how much in a will, and some seem better than others, wondering what is your favourite?

You don't need any more proof as such? now that you have proved that she is her child.
like OC says he could have just said that he was the father.
