Well it looks, from FreeBMD marriages, as if his wife's maiden name was PINDER and they were married Boston 1866 Sep-Q.

Perhaps you might find her and see if he's nearby??

I think this looks like Ann, in 1861, as a 19-year-old sister to the Head.

      RG9; Piece: 2337; Folio: 30; Page: 3

She's born in Kirton, which is just SW of Boston.

...but no immediate sign of Michael nearby.

There is a Michael Lynch in Skirbeck in 1841 born Ireland. Living with Charles and Bridget Andrews. Charles was not born in county and Bridget was born Ireland.

Will see if I can find anything else

And this is the same Ann in 1851:
            HO107; Piece: 2098; Folio: 90; Page: 19
            ... with her family.

              There's this record:
HO107; Piece: 2099; Folio: 284; Page: 15 ~ lodging in North Street, Boston.

James (28), stonemason's lab, and Michal (24) LENCH, bricklayer's lab, both b Ireland

One can easily imagine how an Irish accent might make Lynch sound like Lench to an English ear.

This is a possible sighting in 1841:
                HO107; Piece 610; Book: 2 ~ Folio: 34; Page: 8
aged 13, in Skirbeck (SE edge of Boston)

He's "alone", but probably in the same household as Charles AUDENNY (? - a bit smudgy) 45+, hawker, not-b-in-county and his wife (presumably), Bridget, 45+, b Ireland.

                  There's a faintly possible Mar-Q 1839 marriage - Lambeth 4-219
amongst the eight names are BOLAM Bridget, and DENNEY Charles. I imagine that Audenny might be an interpretation of O'Denny? - as might DENNEY.

But anything into 1837+ is going to be a bit late for a first marriage.

Marriage to Ann Pinder is the right one.
Haven't found Michael Lynch close by in 1861 yet though.
