Can anyone decipher the name of the church for the 4 marriages on this page, plus the occupation of George Thompson, the last entry on the page.
Also confirm names of witnesses on last entry - I read as Edward Branigan and James Fielding.

    Thanks,
    Christine

I'm pretty sure it's hall at the end. Might be Linenhall Street?

Civil Marriage records from the Linenhall Presbyterian Church, otherwise known as the University Road Presbyterian Church in Belfast, Co Antrim have been added to the marriage index database covering

agree with glassblower and the witness names although Fielding has been written very quickly and looks a bit odd I still feel its Fielding.

Edit: Interesting piece about the minister Robert Knox

Thanks all. Glassblower is reasonably clear once somebody points it out!
Thanks for confirmation of Linenhall, Kat.
I've been to the Linen Hall library in Belfast - lovely building, although the buildings around Donegall Square have changed a lot (not always for the better) over the years. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linen_Hall_Library
