I can see a Henry Squires Binns in the 1901 census, born c1884 Bradford Yorkshire - parents Thomas born c 1853 and Elizabeth born c1852 - siblings Mary Elizabeth (c1867), William (c1869), Olive (c1870) and Annie (c1872).

Difficult to pinpoint Henry in the 1911 census - there are a few possibilities that might be worth looking at but it's a pay per view site.

There are 2 Henry Binns on 1911 in Bradford one b1873, and the other 1889.

I haven't got any credits left on the 1911 so all I can see is that she is there. But where does the name Foley come in? Do you think she just called herself Binns?

Am I imaging things, or was there a similar thread to this going nowhere fast earlier this week?

yes helen your right. we established that ellen forey had an affair with henry squire binns, but we couldnt find a marriage, because he was still married to edith greenwood, from 1904 onwards. there were still births in the 20's of binns with mothers name greenwood, but we werent sure if they were henry and edith's or not.

                  here is th thread:
