    A screenshot or screen capture is the act of copying all or part of what is currently displayed on the screen and saving it in image format on your computer.

    SNIPPING TOOL is a useful program which is part of the Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 standard installation.

    To open SNIPPING TOOL
    • Vista / Windows 7 : Go to Start menu > All programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool
    • Windows 8 : Open Snipping Tool by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Search

    You can use details for birthplace on the individual census record set search pages, found from the A-Z of Record sets, but you can only search one census at a time from those pages.
